The delivery of the rescue and firefighting boat “Mersin Marina 5”, which Izmir Shipyard built, has been completed.

Within the scope of our sustainability policy, 100 recycled HDPE 2 was used as the main material of the boat. The launching and usage trials of the boat were carried out by the marina team. The fire extinguishing system on the boat provides intervention from the sea in case of possible fire with its water suction from a depth of 8 meters and water spraying features of 15 meters forward. At the same time, the boat, which has the feature of protecting the person from heat during the fire response with the nozzles on it, has a pair of bollards so that large-sized boats can easily dock for rescue
